Default Front splitter

After reading numerous threads about fellow C5 owners buying front splitters, I decided to throw in my two cents.
I looked for 1-2 years to find a ZR1 style front splitter that looked good and had decent clearance. After I read the thread from BillY2KFRC about the front splitter he purchased from Apsis, I bought one for my car.
I couldn't be happier with my purchase! The ZR1 style carbon splitter has a beautiful finish and fit the contour of the car perfect. It does not extend down as low as the ACI, and I have not dragged it once in the year it's been on. (BillY2KFRC said the same thing, and I believe his car is lowered). Also, it looks right on the car. Some of the splitters I have seen look like they were made as an after thought in someones back garage.
If interested, contact Jersey at Apsisusa, I highly recommend it.

Sorry, no pics now. Stored for the winter.
If you can find the thread from BillY2KFRC dated 09/02/2011, he had some great pics of his. Was titled "Apsis Carbon Fiber Front Splitter Installed".

Let's see some pictures of it. I have yet to see one that I wouldn't knock off my car the very first time I drove it. I like the way they look however.

C54RB, thanks, glad you are enjoying the splitter and that my post did not steer you wrong. And correct, my car is lowered 2" on Pfadt featherlight coilovers and the splitter has not hit once in 2.5 years I've had it installed. Probably at least 10-15k street miles with it.

Here are the detailed pics of the splitter after it was installed:

And here are pics with the side skirts later added as well:

Thanks guys!

Skull, I'm am extremely flattered by that, very happy with my ccw/c6z brake combo! Gives a renewed love for my car to hear compliments like that, maybe enough to stop thinking about a C7Z.
