Default Tubi Exhaust

I have this Tubi Exhaust that I installed several years ago. Tubi attempted to break into the Corvette aftermarket exhaust business but their prices were too high and they gave up. I am curious if there are any other Tubi exhausts still in the population.

Tubi for the C5? I can see it in my mind now...

EBAY: Tubi corvette exhaust.

Exotic cat back exhaust system fits 01-04 C5 and C5 Z06. Most exotic aftermarket exhaust. 15-20 hp gains. Comes with gaskets and install instructions.

$599.99

Pretty sure most of their exhaust products range from mid $3k up to $8k+... One of the cheapest products in their line-up, a BMW midpipe, is still in the low-mid $1k range lol

The Tubi for the Corvette cat back was initially $1800. I got mine on a market entry promotional for $1000. Tubi is the exhaust manufacturer for Ferrari and Lambo but does make exhausts for other upscale cars. And, yes, their prices are very high. The set that I have makes my car sound very similar to a v8 Ferrari especially when the pedal is to the metal. It is a very different sounding Corvette.

Personally, I would've loved having a Tubi exhaust on my C5. I know that they sound absolutely sick on Ferraris and sometimes, actually add to the resale value and desirability. On some models such as the F355, you will find Tubi exhaust systems (headers) quite often due to the fact that the factory exhaust was of such poor quality. The exhaust manifolds would burn and crack very quickly even on brand new factory replacements. Because of this fact, Ferrari buyers look for the Tubi replacements when shopping for a F355. They are also a much sought after upgrade across the Ferrari line.

I would love to hear a sound clip of a C5 with a Tubi catback.

I do not have the equipment to make sound clips. But if you do a web search for Tubi exhausts for Corvette, there is a ZO6 doing a full throttle drive by and several V8 Ferrari's sound clips.

Here is a good vid of one of my M6 buddies with a Tubi Ramore exhaust on his M6. That V10 sounds sooo good with the Tubi, especially at 8500 rpms

LOL I think you are thinking of "Tanabe exhaust"

http://www.tubistyle-australia.com/c...-6/c5-107.html
Ti Tubi Exhaust $9,600 USD
SS Tubi Exhaust $2500 USD

I wil stick with OEM Ti or Corsa for the money.

I kind of have one...It is off of the car right now while it is getting an upgrade in the power department. Workmanship is amazing and I can't wait to get it back on the car.

OP: What production number is yours?

I just looked on there AUS site as well and they came up as:

TI - $11,098.26 SS - $2,942.52

I got a better price on mine or I would just be running something else that just sounded good enough.

My serial nbr is 42. This pic is not good because of the reflection, but you can make out the number.
