Was wondering if anyone had any pics of getting there parts hydro dipped? was thinking about doing some of my parts but was wanting some ideas!! Please Post Thanks......
I have had several parts hydro-dipped. The pattern-step always seems to go well, but I have had several parts where the Clear-Coat was not done well and it is "hazy" at different angles. I have other parts that were done right and they look amazing.
So what did that cost you? There is a shop near here that does all the University of Oregon football helmets (helmets are awful, but the quality is amazing).

Reach out to Pat on here, name is American Hydrocarbon, the prices vary on what you are getting dipped.

I was just wondering about the console. I am torn between going with a single din or cutting mine up for something cool. If I cut it up, I was going to have it dipped. That looks very cool.

Been thinking of this also. Tried my hand at the 3m carbon fiber vinyl wrap. Looked good but is a pain to put on and had a couple small imperfections so ripped it off and think I'm going to try my hand at the dip process. Dip wizard or my dip kit.com has some good kits. I will have to practice on some other things first tho. I'll keep in touch if it works. Any others used these kits. Thanks
