Is anyone running the Mid America Quad Cruiser exhaust system? I have run several systems on my past Corvettes including the B&B Bullet and Magnaflow. I'm not even sure yet that I want to change out the factory system on my '04 vert but if I do I'm leaning toward something quieter at cruise. Thanks much.
When I purchased my coupe it was completely stock besides the B&B route 66 exhaust. It had a slightly noticeable increase and sound at Idol and at cruise. I had no drone or any issues with it. Now I have a long tube headers and electric cutouts which makes my car screen, but when I pull into my neighborhood I close the cutouts and the route 66 quiets my car down just enough where I am not annoying neighbors
I just put on a Corsa Extreme system with Xpipe and honestly at normal cruise speeds and during normal driving it's not much louder than stock just better sounding. at WOT it makes it self known but overall it's very drivable and not obnoxious or annoying by any means

I also have the Corsa Xtreme with Xpipe. Awesome! Good sound, no drone at all, impressive at WOT. Great sound without being obnoxious.

I ran the Mid America Quads and xpipe for about 4 years. Loved them, no drone and had a musclecar sound at wot. I'm running full American Racing Headers and xpipe with the same Mid America mufflers now. A little louder because of the headers, but still no drone when cruising. The stainless finish is still outstanding too.

I ordered the same system and really hope it turns out like that on my stock Z06. I'm worried it will be too loud at idle/cruise but want it loud enough at WOT to be able to hear myself during track days. I hate cars that are just loud all of the time.

Then the Corsa Extreme with Xpipe is the system for you IMO I feel the same way i didn't want to sound like some fool that cut the mufflers and cats off their 4x4 all obnoxious and sh**ty sounding if you ask me. check out the corsa web page they have video links on there that really helped me. Also run a search on youtube for the c5 corsa extreme and you will find lots of videos comparing stock to corsa. Honestly after watching and listening to all the videos its quieter than what I was expecting. At idle and normal driving it's maybe rough estimate 15% louder than stock at WOT probably about 60% louder. I agree whole heartedly with all the others that say there is no drone whatsoever. I drive 50/50 highway and back roads to work and i can talk on the phone via bluetooth the whole way with no problems of them hearing what i am saying or me hearing them. I can listen to radio at normal volume or i can just drive in peace and quiet and for the most part the air around the windows makes far more noise than the exhaust.

Awesome, that's what I was hoping for but with no companies ever using dB meters it's impossible to really know what to expect.
(Hint: exhaust manufacturers, buy a dB meter and use the results in your marketing!)

Thats a great idea, I have a db meter we should pick a specific distance from the exhaust and measure to see what we get at idle and at say 3000 rpm or something like that.
^ yeah I have never understood the reluctance to measure dB levels, especially since there are so many laws in place and rules at various tracks about maximum acceptable sound output on cars.
Not using dB ratings when marketing an exhaust is the same as not using dyno readings when marketing a supercharger IMO and just saying it's "Really fast"
