Accelerator pedal
I purchased the alum replacement for the stock plastic pedal.
Any one know how to remove the pin holding the pedal on? Its almost a touch not see the pin.

you can use a socket just large enough to fit over the head of the pin and a C clamp and press the pin out. To reinstall the pin reverse procedure with the socket on the small end of the pin and use the C clamp to press the pin in. If the pedal feels a little to sloppy you can shim with a flat washer. The instructions should show how to position the spring during Assy. Good Luck.

For me the easiest way is to unplug the connector, unbolt the two or three 8 mm mounting bolts, and take it to the bench.

The PIN had a groove in it. Remove the pressure of the spring against the back of the pedal and it should slide right off.
The hardest part of this mod for me was contourting my 6'3" body into the drivers side footwell.

I pulled my old plastic pedal and put the spring in the new pedal and installed the spring and pin outside of the car. Spring goes on the right sde of pedal when installed in the car. I taped the spring in place with masking tape and then installed it on the car with no problem lining it up. Then I removed the tape.
