Commerce Racing Tonight
Had a blast at the local track tonight. Temp's were mid 70's, VERY high humidity and no traction. Cars that usually run 12.5's at this track were running 12.8 or 12.9. I usually run 12.5-12.6 here, with sub 12.5's only during winter months.
The Vararam did very well, I ran a string of low - mid 12.4's, 114+ - 115+ on 2.0 60' times and spinning pretty bad on the launch and 1-2 shift. That is better than last time at this track, I will try it next at SDR which is 200' instead of 1000+ feet elevation, and they use VHT :)
Enjoyed meeting and racing Eric Jordan in his Viper and his brother (Brian I think but not sure), both are class acts and I will line up with either ofyou any time!
There also was a yellow and red Z06 there tonight, met them both and invited them to join this forum.

Yes I did bck-to-back dyno's on the Vararam vs T1 - nearly identical (the T1 made one more RWHP). The dyno does not capture the advantage of the Vararam (more/colder air). The Vararam SOTP is stronger after you get moving, and Optic beat me with one even though my car was making 2 more RWHP. SO it is not a huge difference, but some for sure.
I like them both a LOT. Since I am not worried about water ingestion I have the best of both worlds - the Vararam with the Halltech Carbon Fiber bridge :)
