hi guys im in the process of buying a z06 and im facing a problem
the transmission is ok when shifting at higher speeds lets say if you are racing everything is good but under normal driving condition when i shift to 4 5 or 6 under 50 miles per hr i hear a rattling noise coming of the clutch/ flywheel assembly? is that normal? that doesnt happen on 1 2 or 3 only on higher gears and lower rpm. the noise comes just when you are engaging the gear. but if i take it easy with the clutch and release it slowly the problem goes away but if i let go of the clutch immediately the rattling shows pls help!

Might want to have it diagnosed before purchase. it could be a something as simple as a throwout bearing or something silly.. if thats the case talk them down ALOT then get it fixed for and have a new Clutch.. FYI clutch replacement is going to run you $1500 parts and labor if that is the issue. Or get a good warranty and have it fixed in a few months.
