My axle listed on my 2001 Coupe build sheet/sticker is a GU6 3.42 ratio, the option in the program in this thread list the G92 Performance 3.15 Axle as the only option. Which is more performance? 3.15 or the 3.42? Was the 3.42 standard? Or is there some other difference besides ratio in a performance axle?

The 3.42 axle was standard on a manual tranny car. The automatic tranny had the 2.73 as standard and 3.15 as the optional performance axle. And the 3.42 axle would be the better performing one.
JDVan, 3.42 is performance , faster out of the hole than 3.15 but will use a bit more gas.
My car is a '98 auto with the performance axle package were it has the 3.15 over the standard (I think) 2.73. I verified my 3.15 gear ratio with the codes on the panel in the trunk and was happy to see the car had that gear in it, you might find mor info on yours back there as well.
BTW, anyone know what destination charge was in '98? I guessed $750
I also know the car is a non-california car and the selling dealer was John Cauley Chevrolet out of West Bloomfield MI as it has the selling dealers little decal in the lower left corner inside the windshield, pretty cool it is still there. FWIW
I printed mine out last year when it was available. Tried to run one for my son when he bought his C4 last October, but the link wasn't working any longer. Glad to see it's up again
