Well I'm the new guy in the C5 section. But I got my C5 in November and he came with 19s in the front and 20s in the back. I spent 13 years fixing my C4 the way I wanted. But found this C-5 and I wouldn't change anything about it. I love it just the way it is.

beautiful car changes the whole look
I have 19/20, and love them.
My car seems to have plenty power to turn these over quite easily, and doesn't mind the size or the weight difference. If you track often; get another set of wheels/tires just for racing.
Those who say they ride differently or worse somehow; haven't driven a C5 with 19 x 20 wheels. They drive and ride just fine, in fact as good or better than the stock sizes I took off and sold.
You can get 35 sidewall on front, and 30 sidewall on the rears, easily. I did. Maybe larger, other guys might more know about that.
Lots of size tires available for 19 x 20 wheels are readily available, from most tire makers.
Some are just traditionalists, and think anything 'new' is somehow sacrilege. I just disagree about that. I would guess there are as many guys running 'non stock' size wheels/tires, as there are stock; now days. All getting bigger. You just don't want the tires sticking out. That's why some go for wide-body fender, which accomodates wider massive tires, which looks great on C5!!! I may do that, someday, maybe when I next need tires.
Go for it. Make your car your own, by what pleases you, and only you.

I like what ever you like!!!! Do what you like the most. I'm a Fan of the 18F, 19R As well as the 19F, 20R set up!!!! I think the Rim choice is the Bigger dilemma! Some rims regardless of size just don't look right on a Particular Vette. Maybe color choice is off, Ride height makes it look wrong, Plain Style of Rim not too good. So do you & enjoy all of those Beautiful Corvettes!!!

they don't fit the lines of the car. 17/18 really looks more period correct on the car. 18/19 kind of works and is necessary for modern tires but i like the stock z06 wheels more than most the aftermarkets
big wheels can look cool on some 60s muscle like a camaro, mustang or challenger so i'm not 100% sold on always being period correct, i just haven;t seen a combo on a c5 that flows with the car yet.

Beautiful cars guys. I personally like the 19/20 set up but those 18/19 look damn good too. Personally I I think the car really needs the staggered set up to suit my tastes at least. I was thinking the same thing as far as its a corvette I was thinking performance/looks/attitude when I bought it and every vette I've owned so I have no problem with the lower profile tire. The lower the profile the better for the corners as I see it. The height rating as for 35's in front and 30's in the rear does not mean the front tires are taller than the rear. The rating is an aspect ratio so it's a percentage of the width of the tire. So 275/35 is pretty close in side wall height compared to a 295 or 305/30

Car looks terrific I think I like your 18/19 wheels the best. I'm personally just not a huge fan of chrome. I like silver with chorme lips but I'm just not an all chrome wheel guy (even though that is what is on my car now lol) sending you a pm
