Don't do it, man! Road salt gets everywhere and you will never remove it completely. Take it from a Canadian living in the most hostile salted roads on the planet. Wait until there is a good rainfall to wash that crap away before taking her out.

Just received cosmetic items from Ecklers, so it will still sit in the garage. Altough having problems keeping the new headlight access covers to stay in place. It is like the hole is a millimeter to big.

I'm in Pennsylvania, and the roads are the same as yours, all white from the salt. That's the rock salt pounded into a dust, salt dust. And soon, (well in a month or so), it's going to be raining. Your take your Vette out in the rain like all of us. and once your completely vapor wet Corvette and that salt dust finally find each other wam,o! you have a breeding ground for rust. Trust the Canadians, they know everything about snow, ice, blizzards, and foul abusive weather on the planet. Why do you think GM takes their new project cars there to test them in the "Cold Weather"

No way I would take my car out when the roads are covered in salt dust. I would just wait until you get a couple of really good rains to wash all that stuff away.

We have about 40" on the ground right now. I am hoping mine will come out by April. Wife even told me to order my Headlights and foglights from JWM. She is a keeper!
I just look at the other two cars in the driveway. A green one and dark blue. They're both white right now so the answer is simple, no way the C-5 is coming out.

Funny, I drive mine every day, as I have all my nice vehicles in the past, and none of them rusted away. You guys would lose your mind seeing all the salt buildup on my car right now. It'll all wash off and be fine in the spring and be shining like a new penny though.
