Default Deep dish wheel question

I currently have 17"x8.5" & 18"x9.5" polished thin spokes with new rubber on my 2002 coupe(and I like them quite a lot) BUT- I'm itching to put on some chrome deep dish 17"x9.5" & 18"x10.5" Z06 wheels. I would like to mount my current stock size tires on them as 265/40R17 & 295/35R18 tires are not only very expensive but apparently pretty rare according to what I can find online. Am I pushing the limits on using my existing tires on these larger wheels and if so will it affect the handling/alignment?
Any suggestions on decent tires that won't eat into my retirement fund if I need to buy them?
I just want to say that I'm approaching one year of Corvette ownership and this forum has been a great help to me in many ways--saved me lots of $$$.
(Has also COST me lots of $$$ in all the mods--but worth every penny)

It'll be fine. They might have a light stretch, but no issues unless you hate the stretched tire look.

OK, thanks--I still might mount some new tires on them and have two sets but there aren't many tires in the preferred sizes.

Those sizes will fit just fine. I don't think there will be any stretch. Im running a 295 on an 11" wheel with virtually no stretch.

On my '02, I'm running base sized C5 tires (245/45; 275/40) on Z06 replicas (9.5;10.5). They fit okay, but I will be going to 265/40; 295/35...for the better fit and additional width...when I replace these.
