Default Joy rides

Today I went on a three hour aprox 150 mile joy ride in the vette... No destination just burning those fossil fuels... Any one else fall victim to the awesome torque and pure sexy-ness of the c5?

Yeah right! With 2 feet of snow and more salt on the ground than Bonneville, it'll be a long time before I can take her out. But, it's nice to dream!

Fell victim a long time ago!

As far as joy rides go right now...well...too much salt on the roads. In about six weeks I'll be joy ridin' too!

I've driven mine on Daytona Beach. No fear of the salt, sand, or ocean spray. Hmm I did wash it when I got home but that was more for the bugs than the salt

Too much salt and melting snow on the roads to get the car out right now. Hopefully soon though as the temps are supposed to get up to near 50* this week and maybe there will be some rain to clear the roads off .

I would have to dig her out first and I'm too tired from digging out from the last week.
I did clean the snow off the cover earlier in the week and immediately the wind tried to rip the cover off.
I left the next snow on the cover.

These are times that try mens' souls.

All my rides in the FRC are joy rides! Will probably be out in mine today, snow and ice all gone off the roads and just about everywhere else.

I can only wish! I did open the garage door & fired up my '99 TR FRC & played my new Jennifer Nettles CD "THAT GIRL" & sat & enjoyed & thought about spring! It's been a long long winter!

Took my 430 whp C5 out yesterday for a small joy ride. Had the neighbor with me. He saw how much of a chick magnet this car is when two women in a Porsche hung out of their targa top at a red light to get our attention. Mine was off too. Pretty cool moment.

I, too am enjoying our CA winters. Drive mine almost daily.

Saw my first C7 on the road yesterday. I waved. Did he wave back? Nope.
