What is the weight difference between a stock hood and a carbon fiber zo6 hood? Thanks!

 

depending on the type of hood, it's probably not as much as you would hope for. They are hard to justify the weight loss for the money ... with that being said ... I think I lost 7 - 14 lbs. .. at this point for me it is what it is (weight). You could loose way more than that doing a set of breaks and it would be way more noticeable in your times.

 

it would be cheaper for the driver to lose 10 lb (not to insinuate you are over weight, but im sure most of us could lose a few pounds)

 

or empty the fluid from the windshield washer reservoir

 

And don't forget to take out the cirarette lighter.
