I never get tired of seeing that video. LOL
From my perspective the hype for the C7 was more than the C5. As the corvette has evolved, so has the internet which has made it easier for the "common" folk to access more information, faster.
Although I get hyped for any vette. LOL I almost got out of my vette and yelled at C6 owner that was at a Jiffy Lube the other night.
You wont catch me at a Jiffy Lube...my car came with lifetime Mobil 1 oil changes from the dealer.
Did you get it at the Chevy dealer there? The reason I ask that is because the owner has a few hotrods that he keeps and works on there. A real nice guy. I think he owns the dealership just to have a place to work on his hotrods!

No, I got it in Boise...The local dealer recently sold out to the local conglomerate (MH Auto Ranch)...I think he must be retiring. Surprisingly he never had any Vettes, must of have been just too small.
