So I got a new black wing and I was told to remove my air pump and egr. By one this guy I know. Does this car have that? I thought the tube connecting on the air filter was non emissions related? Any clue on this?

Dont mess with it if you have emissions. the tube connecting to the air filter/air box draws in the fresh air for your AIR injection system. all C5's have AIR injection to heat the cats faster on cold starts and clean up emissions. "That Guy" you know doesnt know about cars as much as he may lead on to. C5's dont have EGR's.. Leave the AIR system and be happy, it is not causing any power loss. Some guys remove it to make the engine bay look better "Less Busy" or if it has failed but that is really the only reason to remove it.

like the old smog pump on the c4s dont touch that bud. or youll be spending hundreds at the car shop with some bimbo trying to make your car emission friendly.

It runs for 180 seconds max IIRC, so I yanked/disabled it. It's mandatory for a visual pass, but your nose will never tell the difference.
