Multi Disc Player
I have a 1998 that has the single cd delco head unit. Does anyone know if there is already a harness run to the trunk area? If I could find a multi CD player unit, I would like to add it. Thanks!

yes, you can add the rear player with the proper harness...check the back of your radio to make sure the small square-shaped connector is present...all other connectors are elongated. Figure about $100 for the rear player; I'm not sure about the cost of the long harness.

I just picked up a harness via EBay for about $35! I'm installing a 12-disc CD changer in my newly acquired 2003 Z06. I had a heck of a time finding a harness about 10 months ago when I installed another changer in my 2004 coupe. So try EBay!

I think a better choice would be to install an iPod interface. My car came with a rear CD changer but naturally it stopped working like many units. I got the interface from DD Mods (Dennis) a Forum vendor. Easy to install just need access to the rear of the radio which is also easy. With that and an iPod, you can more easily select songs, have more songs, and even have others bring their songs to plug in. If you have an iPod the adapter is only about $75 or so. I brought the cord out to the right of the console with a few feet of slack so the iPod can lay in the passenger seat or floor. If you don't have an iPod you can get them pretty cheap. I just sold an 8GB for $75 which was in mint condition.
