Set an electric fan outside the garage. Close the garage start the car and leave for a bit. They will all be dead in 15 minutes. Just be real careful airing everything out!!!!
Quick; drive your car up to the upper midwest, or east to where it is bitterly cold for a few days. Let it sit out, in the cold nights for a while.
That; should take care of the ants, I would imagine. With no smell of chemical treatment....
Sorry, it 's the only thing I could think of, that is helpful to your problem.
Yeah-and you can use my driveway-just leave a gas card and the keys with the ant infested Vette!

THEN THE DAMN WILD DOGS TORE OUT REAR WIRE HARNESS TRYING TO GET TO A RABBIT HIDING ON THE TRANNY!
welllllll the ants are gone...the lesson I learned from this is go to professionals (pest control) over the counter pesticides can sometimes make things worse. they were just after a moist area under the cover...don't think there is any damage to the balsa wood. get treatment specific to your problem...thank you all ...great to be a member

Did they take all their tools and material with them when they left or did you have to clean up their mess?
1. Open garage door
2. Spread a picnic blanket and food in your yard
3. Wait until all the ants come to raid your picnic
4. Quickly close the garage door so they can't get back in
