Default TSW Interlagos

Been thinking of getting new wheels and looking at the silver Interlagos. The price seems right and they weigh about the same as the stock Z06 Speedlines. Looking at the 17/18 combo or 18/19 combo.

Would appreciate any comments and pics from anyone that has info on these wheels. Also, recommendations for tire sizes.

Noticed that offsets were 50mm front & 65mm rear. Would these look right on the Z06.

I have two sets of 18s. They're great wheels. Mine are all 10.5X18s and I've been running 295/315/30/18 sets. The next set will be all 315s for a totally square set up.

I put in a pair of rack limiters due to the 10.5 rubbing at full lock (18 and 19 set with 265/35 and 305/30). Seems I still get some inner barrel rub depending on control arm angle.
Do you have any rub with either set?
The wheels are great. I'm going to realign and if still rubbing I'll get a pair of 9" 18's for the front.
I was told they wouldn't rub and were no problem. Of course I never did get my lugs promised multiple times with my set either.

My only complaint about the wheels is that the clearcoat is crappy. I suggest taking your new wheels to a local powder coating place before mounting tires on them.

For the tires, I recommend 265/35-18 fronts and 295/30-19 rears.

18/19 gives you a lot more tire choices for our car.

I think 18 front and 19 rear visually looks the best. Best combo between wheel size and tire sidewall height for the best visual balance IMO.

TSW Interlagos are an excellent choice we sell quite few sets. They are 1 step away from a full blown forged wheel at an excellent price!

The only issue I had with my TSW's are the rear offset of 65mm instead of OEM 58mm, in order for the proper rear stance (Rims/tire flush with fender lip) you will need a 7mm spacer which creates another whole new set of problems.

Your car's stance and wheel arch gaps look perfect to me.

These are the same size and finish wheels and tires that I'll be putting on my car this Spring (michelin PSS), looks great.

I recently switched to open-ended lug nuts, and I was surprised to find that the stud threads are barely visible when they're completely tightened. I've seen many people claim that spacers up to 1/4" are fine with the stock wheel studs, but based on what I see, I would never consider using spacers (even as small as 5mm) unless I upgraded to longer studs at the same time. Just an FYI.

Personally, I don't think the tire's wall being 7 mm inward is going to be that visually noticeable, and depending on what tire is used, the difference would be even less noticeable. The TSW fronts have a 50 mm offset, so they are only set 2.3 mm inward as compared to the OEM wheels.

Default TSW Interlagos

I put them on my '02 Z last year. 18x9 and 19x10.5. No spacers in rear. I put Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's on them. 265/35-18 and 305/30-19. The fitment is good and the stagger works.

They are quite noticeable, I have 305/30/19's and without the spacers
the tire/rim sits .28 inches inboard of the fender lip, with spacers they are flush if not slightly outboard of the fenders.

To compensate for the lack of front 9.5" rims (Z06) from TSW they saw fit to use 50mm offset on their 9" rims instead of 54mm therefore the fronts are flush similar to the C5Z stance and no spacers are needed there.

The above specs are for the C5Z., for the Coupe & Vert., I believe the
fronts are 8.5 inches 58mm offset & rears 9.5 inches 65 mm offset,
with those #'s in mind the TSW offerings in 9" 50mm x 10.5" 65mm
offsets are obviously going to be more aggressive than the OE setup.

that was my thinking with the 5mm spacers, puts both wheels 2mm in from oem creating more or less and exact match

i tried the turns with and without the spacers, would have to count again but it was something like 6 with spacers and 8 without. you lost a couple turns but it wasn't excessive. still have about 1/2" on the lug if you use the proper tuner style lug nuts

Great looking setup! Do you have any more pics of your 18/19 Interlagos on the RE-11's?

I just put a set of matt black Interlagos on my yellow Z06 with Michelin Super Sports (275/35/18 fronts and 305/30/19 rears). Looks and drives great. Have fun!
