Paint touch up?
I'm landing on touching up the little chips on my hood, mirrors and front bumper. I know how I plan on doing it other then what's the best solvent to use to clean the areas being repaired. The car has wax and Rejex on it. Paint reducer, lacquer thinner, wax and grease remover??

Many use Dawn to take wax off the car. Not sure if it would work well with Rejex. Might want to post up in the Car Care Section and see if they can give you some advice.

Do what you want to with your car but I would never use Dawn or any detergent on my car's clear coat. I would use Prep-Sol for what you are doing. I don't have time now or the desire to explain why. There are many good threads on this forum that explain why.
