Recently picked up the adaptor and speaker upgrade from Dennis at DD mods and it is awesome. Really want an idea how you all mount your I pod besides some stick on window mount. Your input is greatly appreciated.
I made this to hold my phone which I use to bluetooth my music and phone calls. Keeps it right at hands reach and angled for veiwing. I've made a few of these for friends. Mounts solid to AC control mountin screw.

I'm using a solution provided by ProClip. Unfortunately, it's too dark out and I left my camera flash at the office. I'll try to get you a picture soon.
It clips into the center console bezel to the right of the passenger climate control dial. No tools needed and it can be easily removed with one hand if you want to go back to the stealth look.
You buy two pieces. The cradle that is custom to your specific phone or one that can be adjusted for your phone if it has a case. The second part is the physical mount.
Here is the stock picture of just the mount from ProClip:
A bit expensive but, I had to get this SpecDeck unit that connects to the iSimple unit. I have an older iPod that I plug in. Not sure if there is a new version for iPhone 5.
Sony player, face flips down and the trey pivots out, plug in your ipod, place on trey and close it all up. It's specifically made for ipods/iphones (all gens except the current because Apples awesome) and thumb drives, you can control the ipod and everything. Depending on the model you get the screen and features get better.
