What say you forum? With not having a spare I keep a can of fix a flat in the back but I'd still like to buy roadside assistance just in case. What's the best thing going right now value-wise?
You might want to check out Triple A. Their premium membership gives you up to 200 miles free towing as well as several other services if needed. It's one of those services you hope you never need but glad you have it when you do.
By the way, many places such as hotels etc will give discounts with a Triple A membership.

I've had AAA for years and have used their towing service a few times, only once with my Vette. Always have had successful tows. Plus they provide many other services, including free maps! Still probably the best. The best plan is only about $200 a year for two people.
If you are a member of USAA, they have roadside assistance coverage.
But for all the other/additional services from AAA, I don't think you can beat them!
carry a plug kit a small jack, and a little car compressor, and you won't have to rely on anyone else to help u
Unless you blow a hose, break a belt or have some other problem. I have never had AAA before, but when I got the Vette and planned some long trips, I signed up.
I do carry a can of tire sealer/inflator too.

Fake insurance, if you get a hole somewhere you can't easily get to OR it pouring rain or in some peoples case SNOWING. Runflats are still the best option in my book.
Runflats are out of the question. Even the quietest ones are still too loud.
Not to mention they cost twice as much or can you really trust a runflat again after it's been driven 50 miles without air?
Runflats can blowout just like other tires. You can't drive on them then anyway.
I was driving my g/f's newly acquired '09 335i Convertible yesterday.. We just got off the highway after about 2 hours at highway speeds. We were going straight on a local surface road, about 30 mph when all of a sudden, we heard what sounded like a gunshot nearby... it was so loud, we could hear it echoing off of the houses nearby. We had no idea what it was, until seconds later I could tell it was a blown RF tire, and we got an error message in the control display and then limped another mile to our destination.

I'm sure AAA is a very good service to have, but I just have emergency road service on my car insurance policy. I can't imagine not being able to get to a dealer or repair facility with the coverage they have.
