I played golf yesterday. There are always a lot of vettes at the course. Wednesday there were 5 - 2 C6's, 2 C5's, and my C7. This C5 owner parked and left plenty of space, but the sedan driver took it all, actually touching the vette's nose. Both cars were gone when I finished my round.
Lets see...Golf course = Golf clubs; look around yep no cameras and no golfers, I think I'll practice my swing with my 3 iron and see what happens and then pick the front tires. He'd be in a bad way upon return.
I had something similar happen a few weeks ago at work .. except instead of the front of a car it was a huge trailer hitch on a truck that backed into the parking space infront of me
I have stopped vehicles from backing into my parked Corvette...slamming their widow with an open hand and then telling them I probably saved them a couple thousand dollars body work on my Corvette!! No "thankyou's", what is it with these people??
That's why I never park in a spot that leaves the nose of the car vulnerable. It's way too low for some of these idiots to gauge and risk driving right over it. If I can , I always pull through the spot so my tail is facing the tandem spot, so at least I have a fighting chance that they stop before hitting that too.
