Removable Top Noise
Has anyone ever had a top that had a squeak? The noise is in the corner where it attaches to the car above the drivers ear. Done everything I know to stop the squeak...it sounds like metal on metal. Please let me know what you did to resolve the issue.

wrap the two rear pegs with a few turns of electrical tape and put on a light coat of grease.
Tighten up the center, locking J-hook to snug up the top and eliminate any rattle.
Also you might need to adjust the front brackets that attach to the windshield down a bit.
As the weatherstripping gets older and compressed, these adjustments become necessary.
