Default Is this the right size?

Going to be running 18x9.5 front wheels and 19x11 rear on a 2004 coupe. Done a lot of research on tires and looks like I can run 265/35/18 and 295/30/19 tires. Anyone see an issue with this setup?

If you suggest something other than this please advise why you are recommending that size rather than the above.

I'm trying to consider all options before committing and need to understand pros and cons of the choices.

Those sizes are fine, they are the stock Z06 sizes translated up from 17/18 to 18/19. The only possible consideration would be to bump up to 275/35/18 and 305/30/19 for a little more grip and sidewall if desired.

The only reason I was leaning towards the 295/30 was because the offset of the particular wheel I was looking at buying is on the low side (+55) for our applications, which may cause it to have some poke. I figured the smaller section width would help. In fact in the one brand of tire I was looking at the section width of a 285 was actually about the same as a 295 of other brands. I just don't think a 285 on an 11" rim would be a smart move...way too stretched in my opinion.

What if I went with a 265/40 in the front to get that taller sidewall?

I am running the same sizes with 275/35/18 and 305/35/19 on 18x9.5 and 19x11 respectively.

Larger contact patch and an even more aggressive look! If you go bigger you wont regret it.

Was that rear size a typo? Or do you really have 305/35/19?

Trust me I would love the widest tire possible, but I also don't want the look of a tire poking past the fender. Depending on brand the 295's might even be pushing it. Conti's are wider section width than comparable Michelin.

Assume I stay with the 295/30/19 rear, can I still do the 275/35/18 front or does that start to mess with the built in stagger? I think technically both these sizes would put the overall tire diameter (and therefore circumference) smaller than OEM. The 265's made the front bigger than OEM.
