My horn has stopped, can I just buy any cheap Autozone generic horn and wire it up and hope it works, or does it need a certain current or ohms or something like such? I just want to pass inspection?
The C5 has 2 horns in parallel so you would have to have 2 bad horns.
Can you use the FOB and activate the horns?
Here is the schematic. Have you verified the fuse (11) and relay (36) are good? Most of the times it is the membrane switch in the steering wheel. If you can activate the horn with the FOB, it is most likely the membrane. If you need more help we're always here.
