Waxing over 3m clear protector?

Waxing over 3m clear protector?
All:
First spring with my 02 Z06, and going to get things ready for the season.
With the old 85, I'd just use Meguiars after a good wash...do the hood twice, get the wax out of the seams and I was ready to go.
So I think i'll do the same with the Z but it has the 3M (I think its 3M) clear protection stuff on the front of the hood, the front bumper and the first 6 inches of the roof.
Can you wax over that? Of course to be careful not to get it under the seam of it.
I'm sure this has been beat to death before, so forgive me for the question if its a bad one!

I don't use regular wax. There are plenty of wax's that are made for
3M bras. Check Adam's, they have good products. Adam's VRT is
one.

FWIW - I have used Chadwicks Triple Play on my Xtol Ultimate clear bra and it works really great !
