Was thinking about installing door panel insulators to reduce road noise. Eckler's has them for $29, seems reasonable. Has anyone installed these and did they help. Any other suggestions. Thank you

I have buddies who have spent many $$$ on sound insulation all over their C5's and C6's.
I run long tube headers and Corsa exhaust. No drone or resonance at highway speeds without any extra insulation.
But I have driven a zillion miles in trucks, worked oilfield, hours and hours in single and twin engine cockpits, Shot thousands of rounds from many different guns.
My cammed Vette above purrs like a kitten at highway speeds but roars when I stomp on it!
Guess I am just use to whatever noises most don't like. My C5 Coupe is almost as quiet as my much newer Ford pickup!

The doors are the only thing I haven't insulated yet. I plan to do them when I pull the panels to have the lower section recovered. I'll use a roll of frost king though to match the rest of what I've done.
Any type of stereo door speaker upgrade usually requires you to remove the OEM foam that is glued onto the back of the door panel. Since I was upgrading my stereo, I decided to pull out the interior and install some RaamAudio BXT II and Ensolite. Since my C5 is a vert, I wasn't looking for Lexus quiet, but I did want to reduce as much road noise as possible. I usually drive with the top up when I'm on the expressway driving at higher speeds and I noticed a significant improvement. The combo of less road noise and a better stereo system completely changed the driving experience. Top down, it really doesn't matter. For example, last week I was in a 15 MPH stop light crawl for about 5 miles with a large dumptruck driving next to me. Nothing like diesel shifting and airbrakes to add to the enjoyment of a top down cruise!
