Hopefully she could get a refund on the jacket.
Mine knows me like a book too, but she bought me a Jeff Gordon jacket back in 94 or 95, I still wear it a few times a year. And we all know what they look like. I too have a Corvette jacket, just not as much on it.

Be thankful you have woman that cares enough to try to make you happy.

Tell her the aliens took it when you were abducted...this story actually frees up time for some brewski's with the buds.

Lol well actually I don't hate it, I like the jacket, my adamant "no" to her was I feel uncomfortable when she buys me things. I'm not use to it, my late wife (died 8years ago) never really bought me anything before or during our marriage, and my ex-idiot two years ago only cared about herself, so my present GF always buys me things and I'm not use to it.

I wouldn't wear it all the time cause obviously it looks more like a racing jacket as one put it then an everyday jacket, and there will be a times and places for it.

As for a picture she'd kill me if she knew but she won't be on here since she doesn't understand computers lol

Years ago my wife bought me a double knit leisure suit in off white. I hated it but I wore it many times because it made her smile at me with that smile that nobody else ever sees. Wear it with pride. Who cares what anyone else thinks. You have something many guys wish they had.

That jacket would not be my choice but it is also not a bad jacket. Under the same circumstances I would wear it. My choice is always less is more but that jacket is still a nice one. As for her buying you stuff everyone is different. If you like her take her as she is. You can buy her stuff too you know.

I dunno. I kinda like it. I wouldn't wear it to a car show, but I'd wear it a few times a week just because I like it. My friends would definitely get a kick out of it

Does your Jeff Gordon Jacket look like this?
Not quite, doesn't have the green on it.

Sounds like a Seinfeld episode.

Wear it, who cares what other people think, we will only snicker after you walk-by.

Born 1961, to old to care, and smart enough to keep the other half happy.

You're wrong. I was born in 79 and don't like it at all. I'd bet more "older" vette guys like it than the "younger" ones.

Btw OP, your girlfriend is very pretty.

You are wrong, sir!! Sorry. Born in '56 and I like it just fine! Looks pretty cool to me. At first glance, I thought it was like a fire suit/racing jacket. Not for every occasion, but definitely for rallies, outings, and top-off days in the 'Vette!!

By the way, OP, the GF is very pretty!! You should relish in her affections as she obviously cares for you a great deal!!

jmhop.

My son has a similar one, but it's a sweat shirt hoodie. I like it, born in 55, and apparently he likes it, born in 88, so much for that theory Btw, your gf is very cute, but is that a Pokeman poster in your bedroom?

Tell her it's a classic, that it should be framed and hang it in in the mancave.

Jacket is screaming for several road trips to IMSA races. No shame with that.
