Z06 vs 03 cobra
I post here because I won a daily driver stang :rolleyes: but this mess started and I stoped posting there, but so that you can see the stupidity that goes on other forums.

I've mentioned this before, but the whole Z06 vs. '03 Cobra argument is Mustang guys saying that the Z06 is a rip off being that an '03 Cobra is just as quick or quicker with just a few mods, and costing $15k less.
That is one of the dumbest arguments I've heard, and shows how narrow minded some Mustang owners are: they think only in straight line terms, as if quarter mile times are the only thing that make a great car great. A Z06 is FAR more of a car than just a quarter mile beast. One lap on a road course with both cars proves that out real quick. And thats not going into the intangible benefits of the Z06 such as styling, image, owners group, history, feel, etc.
You have to look at the whole package a car offers. Hey, if all you care about is 1/4 mile times, then the Z06 is the wrong car for you, and I agree that an '03 Cobra would be a better value for your needs. Then again, if all you care about is 1/4 mile times, then there are far better values out there than an '03 Cobra too. Although none of them would have a warranty... ;)

There is no comparison between a vette and a cobra, a vette should be compared to 911's and such and cobras compared to SS's and WS6's F-bodies. My 2 cents :cheers: :cheers: :cheers:
