Ok I have to replace my starter and I'm trying to find out if it's as easy as jacking up the car and just taking off the bolts or do I have a long process ahead of me?
Do you have long tube headers? If so I believe you will need to loosen them up or maybe remove them completely. I'm not sure about stock exhaust manifolds as I have never dealt with those.

I had to remove my header on the passenger side to get to the starter.
No i do not have manifolds, i have headers. You may be able to get the starter out without removing them seeing you have manifolds. I'm not very sure. One way to find out

Hi
since you are replacing your starter i thought this article might be of interest to you - If you read this thread starting with Post #78 on this link below it talks about the weakness in the mounting of the starters on the C5 engine block. I took Junkman's advice and used the truck starter on my 2004 Vette - the cost difference was minimal

Thanks!! I'm about to jack up my car and see what it looks like. Hopefully that didn't happen to me. I have a 2003 z06 so well see lol. But what do you mean by the truck started?

Thanks for that info I hadn't heard of this issue before, but now if I need to replace my starter at some time I'll make sure to check it for the 2 long bolt design.

If u read further down in the thread Junkman used a starter for a GM Truck. This starter has more surface that mounts to your engine block so that way there is less Torgue ( ? ) on the starter when u turn the car over to start it. I think he references the part # - i bought one from Autozone for $140 if i remember right.
I suggest removing the header, you'll try to work around it. IMO, you'll spend more time working around the thing. I know I did. shortcuts aren't always shortcuts
