So when I would fill up I would get up to 300 miles, I fills up the other day and it said I will only get up to 200 miles. Also I had a little bit more then a 1/4 tank of gas and it said my range was 56 miles.
Will upgrading my fuel system have anything to do with that?
It sounds like you were getting 300 miles out of a tank and now you get 200 (or at least that's what you think)?
Keep in mind that the gas sensors on these cars are among the worst in the automobile industry.
I think your first task is identify whether your car is all of a sudden burning more fuel OR your fuel instrumentation is malfunctioning making you think you are burning more than you actually are.
Stop paying attention to the fuel related instrumentation and instead fill up, burn a full tank, refill and see how much goes in on the pump read-out. Then take the mileage and divide it by what the pump shows went in. That should give you a sanity check.

1. The 'range' readout is the number of gallons the fuel gauge thinks is in the tank multiplied by the 'average mileage' readout.
2. The 'average mileage' readout is miles divided by the gallons of gas the PCM thinks it has burned, both measured from the last time you reset 'average mileage'. (Note that this calculation has nothing at all to do with how much fuel is in the tank.)
#2 means that 'average mileage' can do really odd things right after it is reset, depending on how/where you drive for the first gallon or so, and that in turn throws the range computation in #1 off. For example, if you fill up, reset the average, and then drive home on the freeway, it thinks you're averaging 25MPG or so with 18 gallons in the tank, which gives you a projected range of 450 miles. If (like me) the trip home from the gas station is two miles of 40mph surface streets with a half-dozen stop signs, it thinks you're averaging 15MPG for a projected range of 270 miles.
(And just for the record, over the course of a full tank, the displayed average on my car typically runs about 1MPG higher than calculated by hand.)

These cars should get way more than 200 miles per tank unless you are getting about 10-12 mpg.
My fill ups are usually about 16 gallons. My range is always right at 300 sometimes 320 or 340 if lots of highway sometimes 280 if Ive been manually shifting my automatic and just goofing around getting on it a bunch and having fun . On average though 300 miles out of a tank and I average 20mpg mixed driving. My average shown on the dash is usually between 19.8 and 20.4 and when I calculate my MPG during fill ups every so often (just a couple days ago) I come up with right at 20mpg. I use Lucas fuel conditioner in every other tank car has 63,000 miles and is stock other than Corsa extreme exhaust and Xpipe.
If your milage / tank dropped by 1/3 seemingly over night and you were not driving any different and have done nothing to the car I'd say you might wanna have that check out.
