before and after....

As a retirement gift, from me to me; I had A&A Corvette install a SuperCharger in my 2003 C5.
I want to thank Andy, Josh, Jesse and all the guys at A&A. They do great work, service after the job is second to none I've ever seen, and they made me feel welcome there, as if I'd been an old customer for many years.
My LS1 engine is bone stock, So I asked Andy for a mild tune, leaving some to spare. He did, and told me there was more there, if I ever decided I need 'more'. Just give him a call. I think 504 RWHP, is enough for anyone.... on a stock LS1 motor; that is. Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind about that.....
I have to admit one thing, I did not like. When your car is on the dyno, and Andy is 'tuning' it; it's kind of upsetting. Kind of like having one of your own kids in surgery, and that nervous feeling. Been there, done that. With the SuperCharger wound up, in my car, on the dyno; that thing just starts screaming, and hunkers down against the dyno straps; and you (me) feel like it's the space shuttle about ready to launch. Then, 'finally', Andy would shut it down, work some magic with his laptop plugged into my onboard computer, and then do it again.... and again....
Maybe I should have stayed in the office, until 'my baby' came out of surgery. LOL
Going from 314 HP at the rear wheel, to 504 RWHP, with a broad torque band (461), is a hoot, I must say. I understand, that guys have 600, 700, and more; and that must be an awesome thing, for sure. But, this car is fun at a new level, and exciting to punch (hang on when it shifts down, and revs up a little). Rear tires may need to be replaced, a little more often. Still my C5 can be very calm, and is my daily driver, and will cross the country on many long trips to come. Almost nobody would know that it's not stock, unless you had a trained ear, and know how to listen for the SC, just driving around.
I should now say something witty, like 'it's so much fun to get blown', but; er, uhm, oh well, never mind.

BTW, what brand wheels are those - they really go well on the car.

Others who have much more power, definitely do more upgrades to handle the demands on the rest of the power train.
Also depends on if you go to the track often, and how you drive your car after the SC install. But these cars are built, right off the assembly line for some punishment. These are not passenger cars meant to haul the family around. They make Camry's and Corolla's for that. IMHO>
Reminds me of my father telling me (and my two older brothers) when I was young, 'if you're going to dance, you gotta pay the fiddler'.

Looks good, nice clean install!
Just did mine this past November with very similar results (mild tune too on stock bottom end and drivetrain).
Know I'll need a clutch, probably sooner than later, starting to plan that all out.
Haven't had a chance to hit the track yet, but highway on ramps are a lot more fun
