Default Maginetc ride

I have 50th anniversary with Magnetic ride after a long winter, of setting I found a stain on the floor lower contol arm soaked shocks leaking. both front sone oil on rear also. I would like to keep this system, I understand $2,500 is a lot, but everyone I talked to said the reprogramed the computor and put Bildtein shocks and most were not happie with th ride, Im open for suggestion
Thanks
BJ

Talk to Gene or Patric at www.gmpartshouse.com and order the C6 Z06 shocks that they have. Everthing that I have heard has been very postive for these. The only thing is you will have to program out the F55 system or get the trouble codes and be limited to 80 mph.

I also have an '03 magnetic ride. Hard to believe both front are leaking...how many miles are on your Corvette? I have thought about what would I do if I came to this. I would buy some low mileage used ones from e bay... there always seems to be some from wrecks or just simple got scared and replaced them for very reasonable. That would be my course of action. Good luck, Rob

Default F55 shocks

I blew out both left side shocks on a bad bump.

I have the right rear on EBay right now with a $150 starting bid.

Great decision. I also have a 03 AE and would do the same thing. I really like the suspension abilities and to switch between stiff and soft. Turn the switch and it's a different world as far as the ride goes.
