Default tpms question

On a 1999 vette- the left rear pressure doesn't register. I have a new sensor. Once that is installed can I program just the left rear or do you have to go thru the whole sequence. If I can do just the one could you tell me how to do it. Thanks

probably just the one you replace . . .but if the other 3 are the originals- you'll do well to replace them all.

I stand corrected . . yes, Jack's correct . . .sorry OP.

You will have to go through the sequence from the beginning (i.e., LF, RF, RR, LR) to get the one to program. I know of no way to get just the LR to program by itself.

Here's how to program them in case you do not know:

You can program it before you install just to be sure it works. Go through the procedure for the first three in order, then when you get to the left rear, hold the magnet to the sensor in your hand. If it beeps, your all set and can install it later without having to reprogram it again.
