Custom hidden hitch on c5?

Custom hidden hitch on c5?
So I'm an avid mountain biker, road biker, bmx rider, etc. I'm constantly on my bike, and I'm constantly driving places to ride at. I would really like to be able to put some bikes on my vette so I can drive it rather than using my beater to go everywhere during the summer.
So... I was wondering if anyone has ever made a custom hitch that is recessed far back behind the exhaust tips? I would like it to be hidden so that when I put a crossed flags hitch cover on, it would sit far enough back to look like a "dress up plate". I was thinking maybe having somebody cut the hitch and move the open end back a couple inches, and then using a hitch extension to put the rack on when being used.
Any ideas??
