We've beat this to death over the years, but after I'm done with one project ANOTHER is always in the wings waiting. In the big scheme of things there's no telling how much I've spent and even more that could have been spent if I didn't do all my labor myself.
In reality buying a car that looks and drives like this is a $100,000 + value. One I could never afford if truth be known. But even still there are lot's to do...better braking cause when I'm 175mph + the brakes don't even feel they work....I know they do....but it doesn't feel adequate AT ALL!
Then toss all the maintenance items that have to be spent, a complete set of tires each year, it grows into a pile of money to enjoy.
I guess what I'm trying to say...... Dang this is an expensive hobby! But I'm happy I'm not in a Prius!
you got it right, I thought I had everything fixed on my 97(winter project, fix everything thats wrong)when my wife wondered why her sun visor was sagging? Its like a game show, who is the next contestant to be fixed when this one is finished.

I hear you Rick. Just when I think I'm not going to spend more money on the car, I see something else that I like and there goes the cash flying out again.
These cars are now at least 10+ years old so fixing stuff is normal as far as I'm concerned. After reading 'All Corvettes are Red', it should suprise no one that there are many items that are prone to break due to design (weight) and cost and marketing constraints from back in the day. I'm just happy that I can do most of the work myself due to my mechanical apptitude and this forum!

The LEDs look great.
I went replacement bulbs for the rears instead of housing and they are a little disappointing in the light output. But everything else is as expected.
Redid the cluster rings with 3m tape instead of the weak stuff sent with the rings and wish I'd done it all long ago.
