Must be a fairly new company. Went to their web site and a lot of the categories don't have anything in them. Good luck with them if you decide to order from them.

Damien at wildvettes gave me the best price on my 1 7/8 LG Super Pro's. Try sending him a pm, he was very quick to respond to me.

A little over three years now but yeah we don't primarily focus on our website. I built it then got pulled into other revenue streams, had a baby, blah blah you know the story.

I have been paying to support the forum for years because it got me started in this hobby even if we don't really do much in advertising here.

I answer emails at all hours of the day and night, but yeah phone pretty much never happens with my schedule. Sorry

A lot of companies don't want to hire someone for $8 an hour to answer phones. I can answer 50 emails in the time it takes me to answer 1 phone call.

Then I have to take notes if it is a question, then I have to post follow-up post its, call back

Blah what a hassle. Email is quick and to the point and easily searched and referenced for future interactions, sales, and questions.

Try searching for a post it note from a conversation you had with someone three months ago. It usually starts with "Refresh my memory"

I find email to be more efficient. Not OK for everyone. I am 33 and didn't come from the days of phone orders and catalogs where business was always conducted over the phone or in person.

If someone doesn't feel comfortable sending emails or money without talking to someone on the phone we have a ton of great forum vendors that can help you out. It won't hurt my feelings.

Sorry man - - -didn't recognize the name and should have researched before responding - - -

FWIW- you might want to try and forward your phones or do something that's responsive to telephone inquiries - - sounds like you might be missing out on some business.

Again- apologies-

I actually tell people in my phone message to email me for a faster response. If they just continue to call and not email then I am sure I lose business.

The trade off of that is the amount of time I lose in my day answering phone calls. You would be AMAZED the number of people that want to spend 30-45 minutes asking questions, talking about their cars, their trip up the coast, etc and then don't buy anything(especially Corvette people).

I tried early on to do the whole phone thing but generally the phone people are a little older and tend to like "talking" and not so much "buying"(this is a generalization based on my personal experience).

I love Corvettes but I have a two year old to chase around and spend time with. I traded the thing I don't have a lot of(time) for the thing I have enough of(money).

Don't get me wrong, my wife still yells at me for being on my phone all the time, but she doesn't realize how bad it would be if I was actually talking to people. I probably would have been divorced by now

Shoot, I didn't even see this post until now because we had a huge uptick in Blackwing sales and I was searching forum post to see why.

each to his own we run a million dollar glass business and the phone rings off the hook from 8 to 5 everyday, every business is different, people who buy car parts generally know what they are after and a quick e-mail to get the ball rolling is usually all it take's...our business is different and we have to talk to and educate people along the whole process, regardless if they are buying a small 10.00 piece of glass or 50,000.00 bucks of window's and door's for their dream home, so I can completely understand how Wild Vette's choses to run his business it works for him !!!
