Default DIFFERENT question on column lock

First of all I HAVE read through a lot of the millions of threads already about this topic and through that I have learned a lot, but I think I have a somewhat unique scenario and I could use some help figuring this out. Basically I have designed and built what is easiest to understand as a replacement for the key barrel ignition switch which uses a fingerprint scanner. I have every function I want on it working perfectly except for one. The column lock bypass. Basically what I need is for it to be completely disabled in every way shape and form since with my new ignition setup there will be no key at all. I need the wheel itself to be free, the fuel to NOT cut off and I'd also really prefer to not have any codes come up after this is finished. If anyone can help me figure this out I would appreciate it very much!!! I've been working on this project for awhile now and it's finally completed other than this one last issue. Thanks!

get a column lock bypass to fix the factory defect.

then figure out which resistor value is in your key and look up the range, get a resistor of the right value and solder it into the PASS key circuit. use the connector from the old ignition switch. add a relay to the circuit to preserve the anti-theft feature, you only want to present the BCM with the resistance when you are sending the BCM the key in ignition signal. if you don't have an extra IO pin on your mcu you can use the same discrete pin you are using for the key in ignition signal.

this way the column lock will work just like any other C5 with a CLB. the column will no lock or unlock anymore. even without the CLB the column lock is fully electronic unlike some other cars, so based on the key in ignition signal and the PASS resistance the column lock would be fully functional even without the stock ignition switch.

if you want the extra protection of the fuel cutoff removed, it will have to be tuned out, but your project should work without that modification.

This is very late, but thank you! I was gone for about 4 months in between this thread and now, but since I've been back I've almost finished the project. I understand what you're saying now. Originally I didn't realize that the CLB bypassed it all the time and also didn't understand that it was only electronic and the key being in the on position has no effect. I appreciate the help and once I finish my project I'll be sure to post a video of it in action.
