Hate to bring back an old thread, but I took a road-trip last week and took the opportunity to download the sound meter app. I got a reading of 84 decibels. Yikes! What is everyone else getting, with non-runflats and/or dynomat?

84db...i wish mine was that low! I have the B&B Bullets and the interior noise with windows up going 70 mph is ~95db

How do you drive that thing? That is well into the range of causing real hearing damage.

I just installed the Elite Engineering tunnel reinforcement plate with the thermal insulation and it greatly reduced the rattles and squeaks in my 02. Made the car stiffer and it corners much better! The difference was enough my wife noticed it and she has only driven the car three times.

If that is true, you are insane. My daily driver has 2 12's at 90 db. No exhaust is worth that IMO. But to each their own. 95 db is ridiculous.

Just installed the frost king yesterday and it made a slight difference. I went from ~95db to ~90db on the highway doing 70. Its the drone that kills me not the sound of the exhaust
