I did a search and found surprisingly little info on the '03 Z06 - any significant changes planned? I didn't miss anything about a 500 hp 427 being an option did I? :jester
The significant addition for '03 is the magnetic shocks that can vary their viscosity up to 1000 times/sec in response to road/driving conditions. A pretty cool concept, IMHO.
The significant addition for '03 is the magnetic shocks.....
Only on the 50th model.
Magnetic selective ride is available in 2003 on all Corvettes except the Z06. I confirmed this because I wanted it on the convertible I just ordered (not an anniversary model). Order has been placed and accepted.
It's good news that there are no changes to the Z06. Now,I love the company that we support, make no mistake, but what happened from 01 to 02 was a blow to the 01'ers. HELLO..your Vette is outdated by a lil teeny tiny,(look close it's there),amount. It actually only served to alienate the Z folks as a group.
My wish would be to retire the Z option for another 20 years, and give us a new thread. You may choose to stay on the Z thread. Some, like me,will move to the new thread. I want the most that I can get.
....Woops! The most from a Vette, That is........and no other.
Well, seeing mine built ont the 24th of June and being the first to put gasoline in it and being the first to start it at the plant and being the first to drive it off the line, and picking it up at the Museum this Saturday the 27th, I will let you know the changes. Why, you ask, since I was just down there to tell you if there is any changes? There isn't many except to tell you that the 2003's are a year newer than the 2002's.

Here's a picture of a 50th Anniversary '03 Z06. Don't be surprised if it doesn't have 500 rwhp. :D:D
