very well said, we need more info as to what your looking for and what you intend on using the car for as like 8VETTE7 said lots of options out there that produce different results!

But the C6 Z06 shocks seem to be a very popular choice, especially when combined with the C6 Z06 sway bars.

What is recommended if you want to have the "cushy" ride?

koni FSD

shocks are designed for comfort, but, firm up under hard maneuvering. gives you a cush ride without creating the love boat feeling

I have a C5 Z51 Coupe. Added the C6 Z06 shocks. Love them. GM Partshouse has great prices on them,,,,, The ride is firm but not rough and the handling is excellent!

(Gene send the commission check to,,,,,lol)

Koni FSDs here also. No regrets after installing them and upgrading the rest to C5 Z51 spec. They're not cheap, but the ride is superb.

c6z shocks are quite similar to 04z shocks, they are designed for the z06 springs and may be a bit over damped for a base car

they are a great inexpensive choice and would be the way to go if you were more concerned about control and money saved

but

if you're after comfort and have tame springs rates the FSD is the better choice. koni is also one of the top shock manufacturers in the world

I have Bilstien Sports. Roads are ******, my car is pretty slammed makes for a pretty rough ride. Factor in the roads in your area. I would've went with Bilstien HDs instead if I had a second chance. Im going to try raising the car up about a 1/2" to see if that helps a bit.

On my '02 Coupe, I just went from stock to C6 Z06 shocks and C6 Z51 Sways...great balance of comfort/performance/value IMHO.
