C5 fog lights

C5 fog lights
I have read as many of the threads as I can and still need to know.
I have a 1998 convertable with out fog lamps. I am going to install stock fogs.
I have the switch for the dash, two fogs but I want to know do the cars come pre-wired for the fogs or do I have to source the wiring harness.

Pop the hood and look directly below each frame rail near the front bumper. Look for a 2-wire connector/plug. The 99's use purple for power, I believe. Might be the same for a 98.
At any rate...just check and see if you have the connectors anywhere in that vicinity....

If you don't have fog lights, you'll need the lights, bracket, harness and GM switch..
You might be interested in our package which offered Hella Micro DE fog lights (featuring a MUCH stronger lens that won't pit over use) as well as a pre-installed HID kit and everything else you'll need to install your fog lights including the GM fog switch.

I suggest HID fogs. The OEM halogen fog lights have the light output of a weak flashlight.
