2004 z06 convertible "help"
Hello everyone!! First time joining a forum. Just purchased a 2004 z06 with a convertible top.Doing some research online and was told that the z06 does not come in a convertible, But everything about the car is a z06. Ran a auto check and seen that it says z06. Just wondering if anyone can help resolve. Thanks

Post some pics and we may be able to help. If the VIN confirms the car was manufactured as a Z06, a prior owner went to the trouble and modified it into a convertible.

Here is an example VIN from a 2004 Z06.
If it has an "S" in the VIN then its a true Z06.
1G1YY12S345116648
BTW.... what color is it. A friend of mine cut the top off his 2004 Machine Silver Z06. It was an amazing job. Looked totally factory. He sold the car 3-4 yrs ago though.

Look at the VIN Number.
Here is an example VIN from a 2004 Z06.
If it has an "S" in the VIN then its a true Z06.

BTW.... what color is it. A friend of mine cut the top off his 2004 Machine Silver Z06. It was an amazing job. Looked totally factory. He sold the car 3-4 yrs ago though.
