Any issues buying a 1997 verses a newer 1999 or 2000?

Some people will say to stay away from the 97 Vett because it was the first year of the C5 Body style but I say the hell with that. I bought a 1997 last summer and could not be happier.

not reallly issues...just some refinements and improvements......but if you find a clean '97 at a decent price that you like.....go for it!

Yep, i'd take a clean 97 over a beat up 04 any day.
