Black lug caps?
I appear to have lost one of my lug caps recently. I checked the couch cushions and the kitchen junk drawer... Anyway, I thought about replacing all of them with chrome but then I discovered some black ones at a really good price. I have a MY 2001 coupe with the stock polished aluminum wheels. What's your opinion? Chrome or black? Does anyone have black caps on a MY car? Pictures? Thanks.

When I had my '00 with high polished wheels, I took off the stock gray caps and installed the black cap covers that you mention. I think it looked great. But either the black caps or some chrome caps/lugs would look good on the car.

The caps are plastic and are used on a large number of GM vehicles. One thing you can do with them is to paint them. Black, silver, shades of gray, or color match to the car's paint color.

Thanks Jack. I ordered the black ones last night. Do you by any chance have any pics of the black caps on your vette? They are actually cheap enough that if I don't like them, it's not a big deal. I also found and ordered the door panel plugs that I was missing on both doors. EBAY has just about everything, including a ton of stuff I would love but can't afford!
