iPhone Scanner Tool App
Has anyone used a scanner app for iOS? Looking for something similar to the torque app that Android has.

Never heard of it but what exactly does it do? Could be an interesting app to have.

Basically the same thing as a handheld scanner. You can read parameters within the engine (I'm most interested in short and long term fuel trims) and do diagnostics. I saw some in the App Store but was trying to get a feel from someone that has used it. You have to buy a wireless adapter that plugs into your obd2 port and the phone wirelessly connects to it

I use EngineLink on IOS, you need to get a wifi obd2 scanner, they're cheap on amazon. Wifi tho, not BT. BT won't work on IOS.

Why won't Bluetooth work on IOS? I use a lot of Bluetooth devices on IOS.

Nonsense. I use a Lemur BlueDriver for all my OBD-II scanning. BT works just fine on iPhones.

Good to know, I had the ELM BT scanner for my android and when I switched to IOS, it was no go. I'll try my old one today. Thanks for the tip! TIL
