i have a 99 vert that is in full blown underhood mod mode. I have purchased 2 different painted washer tank fluid covers and i cant get either one to lie flat on the existing tank. I've tried extra 3m tape, adhesive promotor. No luck. all the other painted pieces I've purchased fit with no problems.Anybody out there run in to this fit issue with the tank covers? The vendors tell me they somewhat. snap on.I'm not having any luck with that technique either. Anybody out there know the secret trick to make these fit?i used to think pimpin was hard, but moddin is way harder!

How is the fit without ANY tape or other material that has 'thickness' to it?
I used to have great luck with clear silicone adhesive/sealer. It holds well without the death grip of epoxy so things can be removed without much damage.

I bought mine from Kewl, Inc. (or at least from the guy that bought all the left over pieces when Kewl went out of business). The washer and coolant covers bolt on over the stock tanks using the stock mounting points and fit perfect.
