I like the C5R from Pete for the aggressive look and I like the Vortex Pete sells for the front feed air inlet.Wish he would make a combination C5R Vortex splitter to have the best of both all wrapped up into one.

Not sure if you are looking for an actual track splitter, or just one for looks..I went with looks in this case

Looks good, I have flared fenders on the way, and carbon skirts and wing on order from Pete (quickz06) may end up going with his splitter too if I don't go with the APR one.

Nice look! I am in MD as well. You should stop by one of our meetings with this beautiful car! CorvetteClubofAmerica.org. Question on the front splitter.... did you take off the soft rubber spoilers under the bumper? and do you have any cooling issues??

Thanks, I'll have to check it out sometime. As far as the rubber under spoilers go I did not remove them, however I had a small issue re-installing one side when adding the splitter, so it hangs down a bit.

As for cooling I haven't had any issues, even when hot lapping at the dragstrip or cruising.

Car looks terrific, Is that another one of Pete's? Is that one of Pete's hoods too? I'm dying for that hood and but I'm saving that for the icing on the cake. I'm still pretty stuck on the APR on as I'm kinda leaning more toward the track version but not obnoxious full blown race car look either. Hoping to see a few options from you guys

You may just have caused me to spend some $$! I have been slowly going CF on the car and changing a hit-or-miss design to something that means something. Went from Chrome to black wheels, solid black interior to a red / black combination, and been toying with this look for a while.... so maybe I start to look for the skirts and front lip!

Haha nice, it's nice to stand out a bit from other vettes in the area and add a bit of a personal touch to the car, I say go for it!

Thanks, yea both pieces are from carbon creations. I hear you about the APR splitter, it definitely has an aggressive look to it.

I agree, having a intercooler for my blower creates needs, so it was not a hard choice, I live in the south so every bit of air I can get I have to take, with my set up and the front plate opening, Ive never had any issues with the car running close to hot, the extra air flow really helps, down the road I plan to install a vented hood to help with high pressure in the engine compartment, But its never been an issue since I am rarely running at speeds that could cause issues.

Pulled the trigger today and, because of you all and this thread, bought some CF side skirts and front air dam. Yes, honey, it WAS a little bit of money, but think of how good she will look!
