K, this is probably one of the worst week. I spent 300 dollar got a new set of radiator hose. The reason I got those to fix a problem with stem coming from under the hood. but obviously, those hose didn't help...
anyway, so another problem with my car, after I got the hose changed on saturday, last night, my headlight won't pop up. I don't use the twilight option. so I usually manually turn it on the switch on the stirring wheel. It stopped working last night. Then I tried the twilight option. It worked, it popped up.
Anyone know, what is going on with the headlight? the switch broken? sensor? or something else?
thank you guys for reading this.
More than likely it's your multi-function switch on the steering column. The contacts go bad and won't power the headlights. This happened to me several years ago with I got the same symptoms. Do a search on it, there are fixes if you want to take it apart, I just bought a new one and installed it myself. Took a half hour, now everything works.

Just in case you're out at night, and they don't function for you, there is a manual way to raise them. Simply open the hood, find the **** on the headlight motor and turn it until the light raises. BTW, If someone installed HIDs in your car, it is not unusual for them to not raise the first time you turn them on. Some times it takes two or three times. There is a fix for this, but first things first.
