Default Rear Marker Light-Passenger Side

Finished replacing my rear marker lights today with LEDs from JWMotoring. Driver's side was easy; just remove the outside taillight and you can reach right in. However, the passenger side is another story. The power antenna blocks access through the taillight opening. Pulling the fender away from the frame by even a small amount makes it possible to reach the light from underneath, but it will take long and thin forearms and fingers to reach up high enough. The results (red LEDs behind the red lens) make it worth the effort.

Nice! Been thinking about doing this mod in the next few weeks when I put the flares on. Would you post some pics up? Would love to see how they turned out.

When I replaced mine with LED's, I removed one nut on the power antenna and rotated it enough to get my hand in there. Only took a couple of minutes.

I installed Adjure side markers with LED bulbs and they look great. I also own a vert with the antenna motor, so I removed the rear passenger wheel and then unscrewed the wheel well liner. No biggie because I was planning to clean my wheels anyway. I just started with the rear passenger wheel.

Not difficult to pull the wheel well liner out and have total access the that area. But glad you got it installed and are happy with the new look. Been thinking about replacing those lights with LEDs - did the front ones and they look great.

Removing the liner would have been my next step if my arms were any bigger and any shorter. Just enough room for me.
